About Pawshare
Affordable Dog Sharing & Pet Companionship Platform
Pawshare Club begins with pet care, but our deeper purpose is human connection.
We are a community-driven platform that brings local pet owners and animal lovers together through shared pet sitting, dog walking and playdates. These practical acts of support make pet care more accessible but they also create something many people are missing: trusted, meaningful connections within their local community.
Loneliness is not a small or “soft” problem. It can have a profound impact on people’s health, wellbeing and sense of belonging, particularly for older people, people with disability, migrants and others who may feel disconnected from their communities.
We believe pets can be powerful catalysts for connection. They give people a natural reason to meet, build trust and support one another. Through a shared love of animals, a simple request for help can become a conversation, a friendship and, eventually, a stronger community.
Pawshare Club aims to build a scalable, community-led approach to reducing loneliness. At the same time, we help ease the cost and pressure of pet ownership, reduce isolation for pets and support more animals to remain in loving homes.
Better pet care starts with community and sometimes, a pet is what brings that community together. See our core values!
Our story
As expats, my husband and I travelled often, so owning a dog was tricky. We fostered Gulliver, a guide dog trainee, and discovered an incredible network of volunteers who helped us whenever we were away. But when we adopted him after he left the program, that support disappeared and we faced the full cost and stress of finding reliable care.
I realised many dog owners face the same problem: limited local help, rising costs, and tough choices. That’s why Pawshare Club was born; a sharing economy platform where dog owners and local pet lovers exchange walks and pet-sitting using a fair reward point system. It keeps things balanced and encourages long-term participation, making pet care more affordable, reliable, and stress-free.
My dog has shown me unconditional love — the kind I never had growing up. Coming from a poor family where even basic needs were a struggle, I learned early the power of community and helping one another.
From Ally, the founder of Pawshare Club.

Absolutely! You might be an ex dog owner but can not have a dog full-time anymore due to personal circumstances. You can borrow a dog for walks , and if you're working toward a dog training certificate, it’s a fantastic way to gain hands-on experience with different dogs. Plus, you might connect with other dog lovers who don’t have a dog yet but are interested in sharing pet duties, even before getting one of your own!

No, for everyone's safety, dogs with serious behavior issues should not join the community until their behavior is improved. There are many facebook groups, professional trainers that you can still post questions and seek advice from others on how to help your dog.

Pawshare Club is built to support dog lovers like you—helping each other reduce the financial and emotional stress of pet care. While the spirit of the platform is community-driven, there are real costs involved in keeping it running securely and smoothly, including technology, support, and outreach.
Your contribution helps cover these costs and ensures we can keep improving the platform to better serve our members. We aim to keep our fees as low as possible—significantly more affordable than traditional pet-sitting services—so more people can access reliable, trustworthy support.
By subscribing, you’re not just accessing a service—you’re helping build a caring, sustainable community for pet lovers.
